Do not be fooled by less expensive chrome tanned leather holsters. Chrome tanned leather is far less expensive to produce than veg tanned leather. Veg tanned leather uses tree bark to tan the leather and is non toxic and does not leave an acidic residue in the leather. Chrome tanned leather leaves a chrome salt residue in the leather and combined with moisture can have a negative impact on the firearms finish. We only use Veg Tanned leather .

I now have three of their holsters and each one fits perfectly.
When I received the holster for my CZ75 D Compact, the thumb break strap would only fit if the hammer was completely down. As I carry with the firearm decocked, that would not do.
When I contacted Azula about this, they immediately understood my carry requirement and made a relief cut for the hammer in a new holster, shipped it immediately, along with a postage paid return envelope for the first holster.

I have several of these holsters, for several different guns ranging from 1911 to modern striker-fired. They provide excellent retention without slowing your draw in the slightest. The thumb break is in the arc your thumb naturally sweeps through when grabbing your firearm, so it’s impossible to miss. You can also cleanly reholster one-handed without looking. Really, this is the best waist-level “duty” holster you could ask for.

I have 3 Azula holsters now and they are all great. This 2 slot Thumb Break is now my favorite for my 1911 Commander. The thumb snap fit perfectly for condition one carry. The pistol rides well on the belt and I have no issues with concealment while wearing an untucked shirt.
